Full Service Booster Fan Service in San Francisco, CA

I was called to perform a booster fan service for a customer in San Francisco, CA. The customer was complaining about moisture and lint build up in the laundry room. When I onsite the first thing I noticed was that the transition duct was not connected correctly to the back of the dryer with was causing some of the lint build up. The second issue was the secondary lint trap was in bad shape, the door would not close correctly and the lint screen was damaged. The third issue was the transition duct was a semi-rigid duct that was shaped in a strange was. The fourth issue was the booster fan duct work was all loose and lint was escaping. The final issue was the booster fan was completely clogged. So a full dryer vent cleaning was needed. I started this project by removing the booster fan and all the related duct work. I fully serviced the booster fan with air tools and made sure that it was nice and clean. I also full cleaned all the existing duct work and replaced the semi-rigid transition duct with my favorite DryerFlex duct. I also fully service the secondary lint trap, replaced the lint screen and door on the unit. The last step was to reconnect and test the entire system. At the end of this project the home owner now has a safe and fully functional dryer exhaust system.
